Starcraft II Battle Report

The long awaited sequel to Starcraft is finally ....er still in production. Starcraft II's website has released the Battle Report though. It shows the alpha development phase of Starcraft II and the game balancers having a go at one another in Starcraft II. The report does give a nice feel of how the game will be played and it definately feels alot like Starcraft I. Check out the link to take a look.

Major Food Update

Check it out, Waraku De Pasta. I was passed the receipt so I wouldn't need to remember the names of all the dishes, and I lost it. So the first pic is a Maccha Float and Grapefruit I think. The second pic is something that escapes me. 3rd is mine a half half set were 2 spaghetti's (Waraku Carbona & Something Napoleon) are served in smaller servings (HAHA The FOOLS, my conquest of all the dishes of Waraku shall be complete sooner). The next one looks like a toilet bowl with rice and finally I forgot the last one as well(poor memory). The Carbona looked creamy but tasted alittle to the plain side. Napoleon was great though, never knew you could do that was sauce and sausage.

A section of Funan's Foodcourt sells Pepper Lunch. You have to stir it yourself. Added some cheese, I think that made the rice sticky, which was also nice. Rice was fragrant and well mixed (cause it was me who mixed it), meat average, I'd say kinda worth it. Serving's small though.

This dish is amazing, not because of its taste, not because of its presentation, but because I don't have the slightest hint how it got into my phone pics.

Iciban's Set Meal, meh.... I've had better. But servings alot for the price though.

The Southern Ridges

Whether you’re a sporty runner looking for a good workout and a breath of fresh air amidst the lush nature, or just someone seeking a leisurely stroll to enjoy the rich greenery of Singapore, the Southern Ridges has a lot to offer.

This 9km chain of green spaces spans across Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, Kent Ridge Park and ends at West Coast Park, each seamlessly linked by foot trails and connection bridges.

Though I didn't walk the entire park, it was still a nice sight to see. Looking down while walking was very nerve wreaking as well.

Katamari For Iphone

Good news for all you Katamari lovers out there with iPhones, Katamari Damacy has been released on the iPhone. Relying on the tilting function as a control mechanism to move your katamari around it seems like a fun concept.

Unfortunately, the current average rating for the game is 2/5. The controls are flawed which leads to difficult gameplay. Hopefully this will be fixed.

Dragonball Evolution Movie Trailer

For those of you who have been following the Dragonball movie, the first trailer has been released. Expect no Super Saiyan, no Freeza, no Vegeta, no nothing. With none of the important factors of Dragonball incoporated into the movie, I don't know how this movie is going to turn out. Would it be a hit like Death Note or a flop like the first Street Fighter movie? Its coming out March 2009, so wait for it.

Movie: Bolt 3D

Watched the animated Disney movie the other day. Went down to Suntec to catch the 3D version (with 3D glasses and all). Being my first time, it took some getting use to. But after the initial dizziness, I managed to enjoy the movie. The story is about the dog acting for a show but he thinks everything is real (sort of like The Trueman Show, with a dog for Jim Carrey) and he escapes the set to experience the real world for the first time. Simple relaxing story, just sit down, open your heart and enjoy the show.

Overall: Nice relaxing movie, watch with your kids if you have any. Watchable even on weekends (the 3d one) (6.5/10)

Rare Endangered Species

Well either these are a bunch of very rare animals or the guy on top has a nice red bolster with eyes the frog was a victim of xray photography and that is not a giant grasshopper but a very small hand. But serisly, there are some really weird stuff in this site and most of them are real close to extinction. Check it out.

Sawatika RHOMers. Had some LerkThai, if spiciness ain't your thing, then go back to McDonald's. Cause in LerkThai they only serve 2 kinda dishes, spicy and SPICIER. Haha well not really but they serve one mean Tom Yam(btm right), the sourness and spiciness almost blend to create this addictive taste to it, the ingredients inside are cooked just nice and do not overpower the taste of the soup or vice versa. Well I'd tell you more about the other dishes but why don't you head down to your nearest LerkThai and try it out yourself ?

Now this belongs to MOF@ Suntec. Wasn't really hungry during this time, so I just had a nice drink. This is a serving of Macha (I love macha, did i say i love macha cause i sure do) though normally bitter, I had the sweetened version of Macha they had in the menu. Even sweetened there was a bitter aftertaste left behind. An unforgiving yet soothing feel came with each sip.

The sale option is one of a range of dire scenarios company executives were considering after Citigroup stock fell another 26 percent Thursday, after a 23 percent drop on Wednesday.The company's board of directors is expected to meet Friday to discuss options to reverse the stock slide, people familiar with the situation told the daily. Citigroup, a component of the blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average, has tumbled more than 70 percent since the start of the year, with the bank hit by hefty writeoffs linked to the US real estate crisis. Chief Executive Vikram Pandit and other company executives have told colleagues they are frustrated and confused by this week's 50 percent stock decline, the daily said. Citigroup stocks on Thursday closed at 4.71 dollars, their lowest level in 15 years, despite Wednesday's announcement by Saudi Arabian investor Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud that he would increase his holdings in Citigroup Inc. to 5.0 percent, adding that he supports the banking giant's management.

The Waraku Bukkake(Top Right) is a cold noodle dish served with many ingredients(not the other version of bukkake which involves a more white liquidy ingredient) real nice balance of taste when mixed no dull taste which I usually taste when eating cold noodles. My friend had an unagi rice bowl, forgot to ask him how he liked it. Finally ended it with a nice Macha dessert, I love Macha.

The King Of FIghters 2002: Unlimited Match

Shoryuken!! RHOMers. Here is the release of the trailer for the upcoming game KOF 2k2 Unlimited Match. From the looks of it, its going to have a few new characters. One of them with moves similar to K9999. The graphics look very similar but the gameplay has always been the selling factor for King Of Fighter games (I mean the 3d ones look like tetris blocks having spasms). Another reason to head down to the nearest arcade once this game releases!!

Awesome Mega Man Stop Motion Video

Afternoon RHOMers. The video above is a stop motion video of the little blue hero in real world objects. The music also synchronizes well with the video. There's even a boss battle with an Oreo Cookie, so that's how you do it. I always thought battling my cravings for those Cookies were really hard (I'm fat....) .

Wasp Sucking Machine

Greetings RHOMers. Above you can see a self made wasp sucking machine. The person from the site had built it to get rid of the wasps around his workplace.

More Details About The Device:

I happened to have this incredibly powerful blower that I bought at a surplus store thinking I might use it for a pipe organ, but never used. Given this opportunity, and the blower, I decided to build a dedicated 'wasp sucking machine'.

The blower and 1/3 hp motor came as one unit, connected together with a flatbelt. I know, the shopvacs are supposed to have 5 horsepower, but they don't suck much harder than this unit, and they just don't last. The box has a glass lid so you can see the status of the catch, and only bug screen for a 'filter' so there isn't much to resist the flow of air. A piece of metal or cardboard can be slid in a gap where the hose connects to seal off the box, and the box just sits on top of the intake spout for the blower, so it can easily be removed from the machine for purposes of showing off one's catch.

Evening RHOMers, today I have another interesting find. This here is the Febot, its a wind powered battery charger. All you have to do is stick this somewhere windy (not your fart-hole) and let the fans recharge your batteries.

The answer to all of your gadget packing needs. This little Febot is so easy to assemble; even a monkey could put it together. Febot, created by Korean designers Ji-yun Kim, Soon-young Yang and Hwan-ju Jeon, is a torpedo with wings looking object that uses energy created by the wind to recharge a single battery. All you have to do is stick your Febot on an outside window and let the wind work its magic – just make sure it is your Febot.

So if I connect a fan that is powered by Febot and direct the fan at Febot........( ಠ_ಠ ) I WOULD BE UNSTOPPABLE !!!

The Steampunk X-men

To ME my RHOMers ! In the comic "Astonishing X-men Ghost Boxes 01", the second part of the comic shows a steampunk X-men in a steampunk version of their universe. As shown in the picture above, the artwork shows a stunning display of a revised edition of the X-men's transport and the X-men (calling themselves the X-society in the comic). Its little suprises like this that make me remember why I still read comics.
